Middletown v Walkersville GBB

The first game of Friday’s double header between Middletown and Walkersville was the girls, and Middletown dominated throughout the game. On offense it was the Poffenbarger (26pts) and Shipley (18pts) show, with four other players contributing to the Knights 62 points. While their offense was impressive, the Knights also displayed their defensive skills holding the Lions to just 24 points. With their high octane offense and stingy defense, I look forward to watching these Middletown girls make another run at the 2A Championship.
