Linganore v N Hagerstown BBB 3A Playoffs
Tuesday’s 3A playoff matchup between Linganore and North Hagerstown was a tight one from start to finish. North Hagerstown came out with a lot of energy and pushed the pace throughout the game, and got a Linganore team known for taking care of the ball to play at their pace. It was late in the fourth quarter when North was able to establish their biggest lead, 8 points with 1:40 remaining in the game. But the Lancers refused to give up and fought back, bringing it within 1 point with 3.4 seconds left on a big three from Palacios. A quick foul and two missed free throws, the Lancers had a chance, but 2.1 seconds just wasn’t enough and time ran out. Congrats to North Hagerstown and good luck as they take on Frederick today in the next round of the playoffs.
